Many years ago, I had a boss who loved to use what he thought were pithy phrases — most especially, he loved advising employees to “Work smart not hard.” Personally, I’d say that successful folks do both. That is, they persevere in specifically-directed, efficient, productive ways. And when it comes to young people, work, as we know, comes in the form of play.

Play It Smart
I’m proudly introducing a series of video blogs called “Play-It-Smart.” Each one will show you some of my favorite tools for sparking the particular sort of purposeful, engaging play Asperkids need. But more than that, when you watch the videos, you’ll see exactly HOW and WHY this is a special something that deserves your attention.
And while we’re at it, here’s my pledge to you:
Asperkids’ “thumbs-up” is NOT for sale.
Every item I suggest is one I already have purchased for use in my own home with my own children or for a child I love.
Now, let’s get playing!
